The clans are invited to SDO2018 – Saturday 3 March

We are delighted to again invite the Clans to be in Bendigo on Saturday 3 March 2018 for the traditional and contemporary celebrations of our culture at Scots Day Out in the shade of beautiful Rosalind Park.

We also invite your clan to consider holding its annual state or national reunions and gatherings in Victoria’s largest inland city with excellent accommodation and function facilities.

Bendigo’s Visitor Information Centre can assist in securing the right venue for additional function activities over the SDO weekend. City of Greater Bendigo is a major supporter of SDO and the VIC can be contacted through the website www.bendigotourism.com

Events associated with SDO in 2018 will include the Australian premiere of further highlights from the Edinburgh Short Film Festival at Bendigo’s contemporary arts venue La Trobe University Visual Arts Centre in View St and the post-SDO Ceilidh at The Metropolitan.

Our visiting clans are encouraged to participate in the opening parade down View St for SDO at 10am on Saturday 3 March, carrying their banners and leading the contingent of clan members into Rosalind Park where an enjoyable and relaxing day awaits.
