First aid for Burns
Scots Day Out's official first aid provider St Andrew's will celebrate the poetry and music of Scotland in Bendigo on Friday 25 January with a Burns Supper at the Hibernian Hotel.
Scottish poet and lyricist Robert Burns was born on 25 January 1759 and became known as the Bard of Ayrshire, Ploughman Poet and various other names and epithets. He is widely regarded as the national poet of Scotland and is celebrated worldwide.
The Burns Supper will include haggis and Athol Brose in an Australia Day weekend warm-up to Bendigo's major celebrations at Scots Day Out in Rosalind Park on Saturday 2 March.
St Andrew's First Aid Australia Bendigo company is organising the Burns Supper with funds raised to support Project Kokoda.
