Great breeds of Scotland on parade in 2020

Scottish dog breeds will be leaping into Scots Day Out 2020 when the leap year will see one of Australia's most loved and attended Scottish celebrations on 29 February in Bendigo's Rosalind Park.

We welcomed the Scottish terriers for the first time in 2019 and they expected back again next week. And also taking up residence for the day will be members of the Deerhound Club of Victoria.

The Deerhound is the Royal dog of Scotland where it was developed some 1500 years ago and at one time was the exclusive property of the highland chieftains and nobility.

Add in the bands, the dancers, the games and activities plus clans from across the country and SDO 2020 will be a must-attend event.

If you're thinking of coming to Bendigo from Sydney, you can now fly direct on daily Qantaslink flights from the Harbor City to the capital of the goldfields.

We're are pleased that following further ongoing discussions with local authorities, our Scottish vendors will be back in the main area of Rosalind Park for 2020.
